I knew about them in cats and the vaccination link. That's what had me so worried (the aggressiveness and "fingers" that spread throughout).

I am relieved to know they behave differently in ferrets.

The bump has changed since being aspirated. It no longer has the chemical-like odor I first described and has decreased in size to the point that I can barely find it.
