Hi

My 6.5 year old boy has had lymphoma for about 1 yr and 3 months now. Overall he is strong and happy. He is on only .2cc pred 2x/day to keep it in check. This diagnosis has no been confirmed by biopsy as it is based in his lungs and I didn't want to go through with a risky procedure only to tell me what is about 99% sure.
So far, monthly xrays and bloodwork have monitored him and he has responded well to pred.

Thursday, he had an seizure and was diagnosed with insulinoma. He is stable, in good condition, hearty male ferret that under normal circumstances I would have the surgery done without a second thought -- but I have never had a ferret with lymphoma that needed surgery before

Has anyone done surgery on lymphoma feret? What were the results? does anyone know the complications that the lymphoma might cause during and/or post op surgery?

I know each case is different, but anything vets/owners might share would be valuable in the decision process.

Thanks for any info..

Meg
