I know that Ferrets cannot digest raisins well, if at all! But with over 1=
2 yrs. of "ferret eyes" looking up at me, I have found that the "DOLE" bran=
d of raisins, are the plumpest & juiciest ones on the market. "Sun Maid" an=
d others in those little boxes, are poor excuses for Grape relatives! I kno=
w that some will quickly respond with Dr`s. reports & web sites to back the=
m up, 2 or 3 raisins, >>>>and this IS IMPORTANT>>>>, "BITTEN" in half or sm=
aller, lets the smaller treats pass quickly thru the ferret! I give mine ab=
out 4cc`s of Ferretone each, sometime after `raisin time`! This all aids th=
e movement of the `ultimate` treat to a ferret, from beginning to "end"! BU=
T BEWARE> , they are a sweet(naturely)treat, and can affect a Hypoglycemic =
or Hyperglycemic ferret adversely! A few raisin bits, about half the size o=
f a Tic-Tac , usually won`t make them receive & run with it to stash or fin=
ish it, like a whole one might, but it will make them >receive>eat there> &=
look for second `bit`, and all they know is that they got 3 raisins from t=
he `hooman`, size to them doesn`t matter, just the #`s!! Give the ~DOLES`=
a try, much more moisture!!! Good luck, John R. doodle1bug@peoplepc.com=
