Personally, I've never felt the need to give raisins or sweet treats
(except hairball remedy during shedding)... My ferrets follow me
around the house and come running from all hidey-holes at the sound of
their 'treat jar' rattling.

It's filled with dehydrated meat treats, bits of their regular
freeze-dried meat food, and a handful of kibble. After it's all been
sitting together in the plastic jar for a day or two, it all tastes
like the dehydrated 'jerky' treats to them, and they're just as happy
with a bit of "jerky flavored" kibble as they are with any other
treat.

The best thing about the meat-based treats is that they're all healthy
enough not to worry about feeding too much... They're not going to
suffer any nutritional problems by eating dehydrated meat treats or
bits of their regular food.
