The digestion of fats happens in the stomach and part of the small intestine so by the time the colon is reached it is not going to have a mechanical effect.
In those areas where it is digested it slows the process due to the demands of ingesting it.
Large amounts, of course, may not be digested well enough and then what is called "bird seed stools" will result; the globs are lipids, and of course when some other medical problems are present -- for instance gallbladder disease -- high fat content can cause pain and rapid diarrhea...
