hi jen,
my ferret snoopy was in and out of the emergency with a 106 fever that they couldnt diagnose! i took her to a specialist and a ultrasound found that she had a abcess in her abdomin wich was infected. he removed the abcess with contained leftover female stuff( forgot the name as i write this)and luckily that solved her problem.
i wrote this just incase the vet hast considered a infection as part of little boo's problem!
