Thanks for the advice on the increased pred. I already have a call in to my vet to suggest that and see if he has another ideas for this fatboy! Maybe even his porcortin early too?

I am trying to keep feeding him the small frequest doses of chicken gravy but he just keeps getting fatter. I've decided to do half mushed kibble and half chicken gravy in order to try and keep his weight under control!

Thanks everyone for the responses. It is great to know there are other fat bellied ferrets that have surgery and recover this slow!
