Yes, the position is vertical. When I hold her so that her head is at the
top with feet dangling below.. That is when she swallows constantly.
When she's in the normal position (horizontal, on all fours) she doesn't
seem to do it unless she's just eaten.
She hasn't had the sniffles, or a cough. In fact, she's never had either of
these.
I've thought about a possible ulcer, but she doesn't have any other
symptoms. her stools are normal (but she does sometimes whimper when
passing one, and that isn't constipation, as she does manage to do it first
time) with normal colour/consistency. I've never seen her grind her teeth
either.
She has several symptoms, but all seem non specific..........

PS, just as a side note. Along with blood tests, we did a urinalysis also -
nothing was found.
