Hi, Linda, and everyone else,

That sounds a whole lot like Addison's Disease. The
shaking would be shivering since he can't control his
body temp. This is possible if his left adrenal gland
atropheid and has not yet started working again.

You really, really need to get Kodo to the vet ASAP
and have his electrolytes checked. If he's shivering
badly and this is Addison's you could be dealing with
a life threatening crisis very quickly. Get him to
the vet sooner rather than later on an emergency basis
and let them do blood work.

I am not a vet, but I've had two ferrets go Addisonian
and one into a full blown Crisis. I don't want your
Kodo to go there.

All the best,
Caity and the fearsome foursome
