I have a male ferret named Koma I have had him for around two years but I don't have a clue how old he is. However recently he has began to loose his balance from his hind legs...the vet said that he had a slip disk and gave him steroids and made me contain him for 2 wks. He seems sometimes to still loose his balance a fall from time to time but is doing much better. he is also a very LAZY ferret hens the name Koma...he does eat well but seems to stay so thin I have had him treated for worms, but he is still very thin I am starting to get worried about him one would think that such a lazy animal would be over weight but he is so thin. I try to feed him ferret food but he refuses to eat it and will only eat cat food. I do get the Purina for kittens bc it has the most nutrients in it, if you can help please do.
I appreciate your time,
Kristin Seymour
