I know how you are feeling. Last week our little guy had a total urinary blockage. I think you need to get him to the vet ASAP so they can try to get a catheter in there, so he doesn't block completely. In searching thru the FHL, I found a post from Dr. Murray saying that Propecia might take about 30 days to start working. For our guy, Lupron allowed the prostrate swelling to decrease in about 2-3 days, but he also had a tube in him to allow his bladder to drain in the meantime.
