I had to look up something for someone else and found that with raw =
beef in diet it is possible for ferrets to contract Infectious Bovine =
Rhinotracheitis. Signs: coughing, sneezing, and anorexia. Virus on =
necropsy was found in spleen, upper and lower respiratory tracts, =
retropharngeal lymphnodes. According to Fox text: "Administration of =
dexamethasone to some ferrets caused recrudescence of viral shedding."
