Subject: Bad or stale food- Health

Bandit is almost 6 months old. He's been having some mucusy( kinda like jelly ) stuff in his stools for about a week or two now. And now this stuff is green. His stools are normal color i guess and the same as its alwas been. Some where i read that if you have a cat or dog that sheds alot, to give a dab of laxatone a day. Since these stools started, i stopped that. Then it dawned on ....Maybe his food is bad or stale and might be causing problems. I feed him totally ferret and the ferret store brand. I put it in a big container. Do you think that the food would go bad or stale and start messing with his system? Im calling the vet tomarrow and im taking him in!
