Hello Group;
One of mine just under went an emergency surgery and we found an adrenal tu=
mor roughly two and a half times the size of his left kidney. In the proce=
ss of attempting to remove the tumor, the vet 'nicked' the arterial flow, I=
think he said, to the kidney. As a result, the kidney had to come out as =
well.
There's little to nothing in your book about ferrets with one kidney. And =
although I have heard of them before, and heard of them doing well, I'd lik=
e to have some solid (personal) research under my belt before he comes home=
