I wasn't meaning to imply that the 4-mon injection doesn't work at all. I was just saying that I have talked to a few people who also have had problems with it, and their ferrets did better on the 1-mon. I think the hard thing with it is if the dosage if not high enough for your specific ferret, the 4-mon injection can be tough to deal with because you can't do anything for your ferret if the Lurpon isn't helping for 4months. If you are using the 1-mon and the dosage isn't right, you only need wait a few weeks to try somthing new. I am glad to hear that the 4-mon works for others though. I was just making a suggestion so Ulrike wouldn't have to give up hope on using Lupron to help out Hobo.
