Subject: Ferret refusing to eat kibble

I received a call from animal control telling me a young ferret had been
found in a garage and had been turned in. Ferret was in bad shape and not eating.
I suggested baby food and promised to visit the next day.
I found an emaciated and dehydrated little girl and brought her to my vet.
BG and packed blood levels were good. Estimated age to be 18 months. Coat in
good condition and nails not real long. We had her Sub Q'd and I left with a
can of AD. She's been with me since then (8 days) and will only eat kibble
mush. She chewed on a dog biscuit at the vet's office but nothing hard since
then.
She doesn't like my group so she's kept separate. This prevents her from
seeing that kibble is a good thing. I've tried grinding up kibble to a powder
and putting it on top. I've left her with just kibble for 8 hours but nothing
is touched (I counted out the kibble)
I need to get her on food so we can move on to finding her a home. People
have suggested leaving her with just the kibble and in time she'll eat but that
makes me a little nervous.
Any suggestions or ideas would be great.
