Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone who wrote trying to help me with
Lexie.
It was good to read that I was correct in thinking that just leaving her with
kibble wasn't the right thing to do.
I didn't think to try cat food as her coat was good. Yesterday and today I
counted out 100 kibble and left her with it. Yesterday I found 85 kibble and
this morning 70 so she is eating!
I'm still giving her the mush each evening so I make sure she is getting
enough to eat. She's even getting a tiny tummy on her! She's playing with balls
and going through the tubes and having fun.
She was very nervous around my group and lashed out at JD and CB (the world's
sweetest ferrets) but this morning let CB sniff at her and didn't attack him.
I'm thinking that now that she's feeling better she'll accept the others and
will be able to find a forever home.
Thank you again for all your help! BTW, I did the ferret trick too but CB
found the kibble and ate it
