There is now a melatonin spray. Though it made to be sprayed, it is liquid. I have been using that on one of my ferrets. There is enough information on the bottle to figure out dosages with a syringe. This particular one is 0.5ml for 1mg and .75ml for 1.5mg. It's orange flavored and doesn't have any alcohol in it. It's kinda expensive, compared to the pills, but much easier to deal with.
