My 6 year old ferret is about at end stage insulinoma and my vet believes h=
e has lymphoma. His meds do not hold him for very long. He is on prednisolo=
ne, diazoxide and devils Club Supreme 2x a day. The DCS helps but not enoug=
h. The vet suggested doing aspirations and possibly removing a lymph node b=
ut said it would be dangerous knocking him out because of the insulinoma. B=
ecause that would only conclude what we already suspect and he is so sick c=
hemo would probably kill him I said no more vets. It just stresses him out =
more. He has gained a lot of weigh, a pound and a half from the high protei=
n doup he eats and not moving around much. I started him on Timmy's Total T=
onic, because I figured at this point he has nothing to loose. Since I need=
to occasionally give him dietary sugars through the day anyway I figured t=
he honey would be an added bonus. Anyway my question is has anyone used Esi=
ac Tea along with Timmy's Tonic? Has anyone used either of these treat insu=
linoma? Anyone have any encoraging success stories? I have done my research=
on what is in Timmy's Tonic. I figured it would at least help to boost his=
immune system and energy level. I don't know how much time he has left and=
I want to try anything I can.
