Sherman made it through the night and actually drank a little a/d soup today. In early afternoon he'll have a transfusion. Our vet said that he has never seen an animal with a stronger will to live. That's Sherman all over. This isn't the only close call he has survived but this is the worst one. He really wasn't expected to make it.

He appears to be past his reaction to the antibiotic. He's still got his upper respiratory infection, his underlying health problems of severe IBD and complete lack of adrenals, and it looks like there is a good chance that he is also dealing with lympho at this point (though he may fool everyone).

Knowing Sherman he really appreciates that people are staying awake all through sequential nights for him and considers it a vast improvement in human attitude.
