I was giving my Boo a 1mg melatonin, too, before he had adrenal surgery. I found a cherry flavored sublingual (disolvable)tab made my GNC. I would crush it up and disolve it in about 2cc's of water, draw up in a syringe and give it to him that way. He'd go nuts!! He loved it cause it smelled sweet. That is always a possibility, too.
