Vet visit update:
Took skin scrapings and believe it is a staph infection, and also that the feet sores
are related to the body sores. Started him on Clavamox and also antibiotic bath
twice a week. Also, children's benadryl, which I have to pick up at the store.
Anybody know what the dosage is for the benadryl? I have used it in the past as a
preventive for possible vaccine reaction, but am drawing a blank on the dosage...?

Thanks,

[Moderator's Note: I've run into dosages that vary widely , even accounting for size
differences, and the vet may want a different dosing for this use compared to pre-
medicating before a vaccine, just as we used to use only 0.2 ml of the Pediatric
version for Ruffle's asthma, so it is probably best to ask the treating vet.]
