Putting a blanket over the cage a night is great. I do that not just to block out any other light (such as the comp or lamp) but also b/c I turn the air down at night and do not want them to get cold. There is the option of getting certain beds for cage. Marshall Farms and other brands have plenty to choose from. There are regular beds and ones that hang from the sides of the cage from four corners so it's off the ground (like a square hammock). I have one that had fleece inside and has a pocket so they can cuddle inside (like a sleeping bag). There are also tunnels you can buy and so much more. Here's Marshall's website so you can get an idea of what's available....(there are other brands out there that are just as good, and you can find them at all pet stores)

If you have any other questions, just ask, i'll be glad to help all that I can...
