It sounds like a good combo of stuff to use for soup, but keep in mind they are stubborn to change. I was told a similar when Boo got sick. But I also found another that he preferred. 1tbsp ground kibble, 3 tbsp Gerber's chicken w/chicken gravy (stage 2), and 1cc of Ensure vanilla flavored (will help with weight gain & a touch of sweet), and a bit of water. Mix up and warm.
I had to start w/syringe feeding but eventually he started licking from the bowl I would give it in when he started feelin up to it. Careful careful when trying to syringe feed. If you force them too fast or too much they could aspirate and be in a world of trouble. So, when you syringe do it slowly. Maybe hold your baby or rap in a towel or blanket (ferret burrito as I call it) so they can't get away and maybe that would be a good start. Keep us posted. Please feel free to email me. I'm still feeding mine the babyfood mix cause he seems to love the extra attention and it ensures me that I know he's getting the protein he needs for his blood sugar probs. =)
Take care,
Terra
