I'll give my two cents and I know many will not agree with me, but... no surgery. It's only a temporary fix in most cases anyway. Symptoms could return in as little as a couple months. Heck, they may not go away at all. Then there's the risk involved in this short term fix as there would be with any major surgery.

Yes, there are those that have had the surgery and their ferrets were symptom free for a long time afterwards. I don't doubt that this can be the results sometimes. I can also tell you about Beasley who was symptom free for over 3 years on prednisone only.

It's a tough choice to have to make.
