I have an 8 yr old ferret that is terminally ill with cancer. My question is that she is still eating fine and her mental state is good, but the last few days she is not defecating but only once a day. She is putting out a lot of urine. I'm sure this is significant and just wanted to know from the vets, what organ is maybe failing and is there anything I can do. Our vet has moved to another state so I will not be able to see her until next month. I don't think my ferret will be here another week. I just wanted to know what to expect as far as the end goes.
