I can't remember now what tests your ferret had, but I
thought I'd relay a conversation I had with my
veterinarian once. I had brought my ferret in for a
respiratory problem and she mentioned one of her other
ferret clients with a respiratory problem and turned
out to have sesame seeds wedged in his nose. They had
no idea how he had even gotten into sesame seeds much
less how he got them in his nose. Just thought I would
mention an unusual and perhaps not so obvious problem
in case other causes are eliminated.
