I think it is possible that your ferret may have adrenal gland
disease. Hair loss that looks symmetrical is common in adrenal
ferrets. My male furkid lost hair between his shoulder blades and at the
base of his butt up through his lower back and it was symmetrical. Also,
being that your ferret is a female, doe she have the swollen vulva? I
recommend you take her to the vet and have the Tennessee Panel test
done. My vet only charged me $65 for the test and it is well worth
it. That way you are certain that it is or is not adrenal.
