I have used Lysol Spray, since `92, just for `around the rim` after I clean=
them during the day. This is allowed to DRY, then put back into their home=
. When I TOTALLY wash them, i.e. in the yard w/brushes & dis-infectant soap=
every 3 or 4 days, I will dry them thoroughly & spray the BOX with Lysol, =
allow to dry, & refill w/litter. I haven`t heard of any health issues with =
ferrets & lysol, since when dry, you know that common household germs have =
been killed, the box,-disinfected & sanatized! I would think that is a GOOD=
thing from the health standpoint. I have no `critical references`, pro or =
con, but it has worked well for me over the years! thanks...john r. & the g=
