Our little over 2 yr. old Sammy had adrenal surgery last week and the vet found
cancerous tumors all over his pancreas as well as liver damage and a terrible
looking spleen. He doesn't have insulinoma. Only symptoms were excessive
scratching, as well as hair loss on his tail, shoulders, and feet. He had not been as
active as usual either. He's a rescue who was dropped in a Petco pet store and had
his leg broken so was kept in the store room until he came to us. Poor little guy
hasn't had much of a chance from the get go. We're treating him with the milkthistle
for his liver and I'm giving him carafate 30 minutes before feeding him duck soup.

[Moderator's Note: I hope that I trimmed this right. There was a lot of quoting and
it wasn't really clear what was what. It's best to trim quotes down to an absolute
minimum and to make it clear what is quoted and what is newly written, please.]
