Today I introduced my ferrets to a cat we recently adopted. We kept the ferrets in the cage for a few days so the cat could get used to the smell and the ferrets could get used to the cat. Today, I had my mom hold the cat while I held the ferrets. We let them sniff eachother and touch eachother but we were in control of the situation. We then put the ferrets and the cat on leashes so they had a bit more freedom but we still had control. Eventually we let them all off their leashes, the cat ran to the other end of the house and hid.

I need to find information on the best way to introduce our new puppy to our ferret. I am afraid of an accidental injury. I won't be every leaving them alone together, but I need to find out the best way to introduce them so I don't cause any problems with them getting along.
