There has been documentation of cages left for extneded periods which were implicated as the source of infection.
I directly sent you the contact information for a shelter for ADV+ ferrets in NJ. If that one can use the bedding since they would already be ferrets with ADV your worry cuold be put aside.
If someone knows of other shelters specializing in ADV+ ferrets they can click on your name on the website to reply to you directly or they can snarf your addy from the digest or individual mails.
