We lost a little girl ferret on Sept 20 from similar symptoms. Noticed hind
end weakness on Friday and she had passed by Monday. Over the weekend she
had developed problems eating, drinking, walking and getting to the
litterbox. By Sunday night I was force feeding her duck soup and at one
point Sunday she ate it well and I thought she was better. I was getting
dressed to take her into the vets on Monday morning and she was gone. She
seemed to be healthy up til Friday. I had 2 other ferrets at the time and
they seem to be fine. Please let me know what you find out. Good luck, I
hope your ferret will come thru this.
