My wonderful vet, who is on this list, said it's much easier on the ferret to
give the percorten shot sub-q. I give the injection every 3-4 weeks sub-q
and it creates no problem what so ever. The only objection my boy has is being
scruffed to get the injection. Have your vet show you how to give it under
the skin, and if you feel comfortable doing it yourself, it'll save you money,
after the initial outlay for the tiny bottle of percorten, and lessen the
discomfort of going to the vet and the muscular discomfort for your girl.
