Easier, yes. I do not feel that giving percorten SC is as effective as
giving it IM, and have not had problems with giving it into the muscle. Then
again, I do not use the flank muscle, and would not, as that is an extremely
painful location to give an IM shot. I give the injection in the hind leg, and have
never had a ferret even lift their head out of the puddle of ferretone.
