We have one ferret, Tootsie Toes, who is exhibiting sever aggression towards my three newer ferrets, all rescues. We're not talking about a small tiff here or there, i'm looking more at, he wants to kill.
We have tried multiple avenues to attend to his agression. we have swapped cages, swapped hammies, given baths, played referee, used fooie on the spots where he would mostly attack the other ferrets. I've used herbal calming fluids.
I've tried scruffing and saying no firmly, i've tried timeouts in cages.
I'm not willing to give up. I want all of my babies to be out and about doing their thing enjoying life.

I have been giving thought to melatonin. But i have only heard of it's use with adrenal, not aggression.

Does anyone have any information what-so-ever on the use of melatonin with aggression cases?
Thanks,
Shannon
