Subject: CRF & loss of appetite
Message-Id: <41924C31.000009.03288@FERRETLOVE1>
My Fox is about 7 1/2 years old, neutered, and has been diagnosed with CRF a
month ago. He's now loosing his appetite. What can I do for him? He doesn
t like the renal cat diets.
His sister had CRF this summer, we didn't know, we thought she had lymphoma
and treated her with pred, 1mg/kg twice a day, when she didn't want to eat
anymore. This increased her appetite and she lived for another month.
Could Fox be "treated" with pred? Or is there anything else I can do to
help his appetite?
