In the beginning, when Spaz was first diagnosed with kidney failure, I was giving him 50 ml of ringers every couple days. It wasn't too long before we increased that to daily. You should talk to your vet about the amount to give.

As for the anemia...if you haven't had the bloodwork done that will tell you, you might not know by looking at him. Spaz's packed cell volume got as low as 15%, which is horribly low, and his gums, nose, etc., didn't look all that pale. We started him on Procrit and his PCV was soon back up to almost 40%.
