Yes the tissue was sent off for biopsy, that is how we knew that the tumor was
insolomia. He said there were some dead areas of the spleen and that is was very
large but, that is all I remember about that. He looked at the adrenal glands during
that surgery and said that although one was slightly larger than the other, it wasn't
significant enough for removal. We had discussed removing it before hand if
feasible. She is on Leuprolide acetate injections for adrenal gland disease. Would
that take care of the anemia if it is the adrenal neoplasia and what is the difference?
She is also on Erythropoetin injections I think that is to bring up the red blood cells.
