Yes, aspirates have something of a chance of being wrong in either direction. I recall some past vet posts on this but not if any mentioned rates, nor why the false positive occur (False negative reason is obvious since only a small sample is tested.). Sorry. What I do recall from what was said to us in relation to that was, "When in doubt have a node removed and biopsied."
