First, I wanted to thank everyone who has responded so far.

Next, I wanted to just give a little bit of an update. The reason the Dr. didn't give me much info that day, is that she just didn't know. She has seen lympho in cats and dogs, but never in ferrets. She took home several books, and also did some research online, and was able to give me more info now.

So far she has responded well to the pred. The lymph nodes have gotten noticeably smaller. Twizzler will be going in on Monday for a full workup. We will be doing a full blood panel, x-rays, and she will be removing part of the lymph node for biopsy.

Because of the potential side effects and low success rate, we have decided for now not to do chemo. She will be looking into the Tufts protocol (oral chemo), but neither of us likes the prospect of the traditional chemo. We will be keeping her on the pred, and adding a holistic treatment protocol (Vitamin C, Pau d'Arco, pycnogenol, and Echinacea). I was wondering if anyone has used this combination before, and how it worked, also if anyone has any other combinations that have been successful.

Thank you again for your response so far, and I will keep everyone updated as we know more.

Blessings,

Becky and Twizzler
