Subject: CRF and mouth ulcer and vomiting

I wrote about my Fox who is in CRF. We have started sub-q fluids and I did
it by myself this morning and it worked great. Well, considering he wasn't
interested in a treat (Ferretvite) and I had to get 25 ml into him without
anybody helping... But we did it and I managed to calm him. I am planning
on giving him 15 ml twice a day. He's also on carafate.
He has had problems with mouth ulcers for about 2 months. He's been on
clavamox, is there a better antibiotic that we could try? Or anything else?
He's also been vomiting, he brought up liquid cat diet yesterday and this
morning I fed him water and he brought that up. Would an anti sickness
medication help?
