In fact, Cookie looks like a ferret who had the classic Adrenal hair loss pattern with a regrowth of all his hairs ... like if he had Lupron.
The hairs have fallen in on shot on his rump and tail ... and he had already new hairs growing back under, he never had a completly bald butt.
Unfortunately, even if there's hairs, in all my search, I've never seen a ferret who had this pattern and who was not Adrenal.
I'm really wondering why all these hairs are coming back ... maybe "darkness" helps more than I thought ...
If it was a bad shedding ... the hair loss would not be located on his rump and tail only ...
We'll go to the vet this Friday with him.
We'll see what she'll say for surgery and for Lupron. She can do the right side but can't do the vena cava ligation. There's no cryo or laser to help either. She tries to do her best with her scalpel blade.
I know all the potential risks of the surgery of the right side ... that's why I'm seriously considering the Lupron treatment. I'm reading all posts of Dr Murray ...
