Research foods but do NOT buy a lot till you know what TYPE of stones you are encountering.

In 23 years we NEVER had uroliths in ferrets until we went to a higher protein diet for one with IBD which got raided. Then we had two with stones. One had a congenital bladder malformation and due to an equipment malfunction his were lost. In his case the deformity clearly was the cause. The ferret with a large stone had the stone recovered and it was cystine. Ferrets with cystine stones need lower protein diets.

Cystine stones in ferrets are on the increase over the last year according to researchers in CA. You can find past posts on uroliths (stones) in

I notice that you also were using the meat and green pea food which was in the mix we had, too.
