Thanks for the replies. It took me awhile to figure everything out but that is due to my brain frying out from dealing with 2 sick ferrets and studying for a pathology exam.

I had forgot to mention (sorry - see above) that it appears that they may be struvite based on a voided sample urinalysis after he was unblocked as there were possible triple phos crystals (struvite). But it will be about 2 weeks minimum before I know the results from the Urolith lab.

You mentioned earlier that you did have the meat and green pea diet in the mix, by staying with more traditional ferret foods I am assuming you mean 8in1 Ultimate, totally ferret, marshalls, etc.?

I guess my major concern is that IF these are struvite stones relating to animal protein being too low (as 2 ferret texts have suggested) and having IBD aggrevated by chicken - where do I go from here as far as diet goes?
Suggestions?
