I can't get ahold of a vet. Mine aren't in, the emergency vet knows nothing about ferrets. My ferret was given a lasix shot 10ml Monday and was put on 8ml 3x a day of furosemide for fluid in his abdomen. He is now crying like he needs to go to the bathroom. He has urinated and defecated several times so it isn't that. He was doing good since he had the shot and has been on a high dose he has acted like he has had a few stomach cramps. Anyone out there know what I can do. I don't think he is in severe pain but I'm going insane and no one wants to help me. He stope everyonce in a while then starts in again. He has insulinoma too.
