It's true that 100 mcg may not be effective. It seems unlikely that you'd have to go up that many steps to find an effective dose, but that is certainly possible. It's even possible that no amount of Lupron will be effective.

What I'd do (and have done), is go with the lower dose first. If that doesn't work, skip the 200 mcg dose and go right to 300.

500 mcg would almost certainly be effective in all cases where Lupron is going to work. I don't believe he has ever said that lower doses don't work. Keep in mind that much of the things he has written about Lupron is from 4 to 5 years ago. Lupron usage was not nearly as common back then as it is now and I think a lot has been learned about it in that time. One of the things we've learned is that doses much smaller than 500 mcg can be very effective!

I wholeheartedly disagree with this approach. If it's one-month Lupron, give it once a month. four-month Lupron, every four months.
