I have never heard of Melatonin implants!!!!! This sounds very radical
to me!!! We crush Melatonin tablets and mix that in with chicken and/or
turkey baby food (or Ferretvite), and give to our ferrets; but I don't
think I would subject them to implants. Has your ferret been operated
on for adrenal disease?

That is awfully young for adrenal disease! This doesn't typically (and
I do mean typically) present until ferrets are at least 4 years of age!

As an aside - that sounds cheap to me!!! I can't imagine anything so
radical costing so little where any type of ferret procedure is
concerned!

[Co-Moderator's Note: The implants are actually well researched and done with a
needle, so don't let the term "implant" sound more scary to you than it actually is
because it is not a major deal. --SDC]
