HI.

My ferret is 6 years old. She was diagnosed with insulnoma about 2 years ago and adernal gland problems within the year. She takes pred twice a day and has been doing really well the last few months. Although, she has lost all her hair on her tail and back.

My question is... a few nights ago in the middle of the night she started making sneezing/wheezing sounds. This had happened a few months ago when i tried giving her melatonin. I even called the vet and was told she would be fine - that it had to do with her reacting to the fluid. I know she hadnt had anything to drink that night. After almost 30 minutes of her making these sounds (not constant, but still concerning). I gave her some Nutrical which I was told to give her if she ever had a seizure or stared into space. Within 10 minutes after the Nutrical... she stopped making the noises.
Was she having a reaction due to low sugar levels??

thanks for your help!!
