The implants have been used in the mink industry for years. Many of us have used them in our ferrets. They are time released over a 4 month period, much easier than crushing pills and dosing every day. (I use liquid melatonin instead of the pills)

They are the same size as a microchip and very easy to implant. I give them myself.

The charge mentioned is very high given the actual cost of the implants, in my opinion.

There's a lot of information in the archives on the implants. Look for Dr. Jerry Murray as the author.
